Grand Elk is now the best walking course in the Colorado Mountains!

Grand Elk is pleased to announce that walking is always an option on their incredible Craig Stadler signature golf course. PGA Head Professional Mike Ritter announced the change today, and is pleased about the elimination of mandatory cart fees.

“We’ve got this premier golf course in the mountains, and the Scottish-style design of Grand Elk lends itself perfectly to enjoying the game on foot”, Ritter said. He added, “We decided now was the right time to make this change for several reasons.”

“ First of all, we are all watching our spending, and golfers who want to walk can enjoy Grand Elk for less money. In addition, walking is healthier for the both the golfer and the course itself, and creates less impact on the environment.

Finally, we feel that golfers will enjoy and appreciate the design elements of the course even more if they experience it on foot.” The option to walk is available to all golfers at Grand Elk starting on their early opening day of April 24th, 2009. Please check the website at www.grandelk.com to see the new pricing structure, and come on out and Walk the Elk!
